These years 202 Dixie Fields country music festival has been officially “CANCELLED”
Although we are all disappointed that the festival for 2020 has been cancelled, we are not surprised. With all the disruption caused by Covid-19 there really was no other option for the organisers.
Any event of this scale takes a huge amount of planning, resources and money to get right as well as safe. The DF organisers have rightly pushed this year’s festival to 2021 sighting the virus as the main cause.
In addition, they have said that the safety and wellbeing of their guests are paramount to them as well as the emergency services who at this crucial time are an essential resource needed to keep the public safe.
All tickets will now be pushed to the 2021 festival, which DF intend to put on with the same acts that have already been announced as well as those booked but not yet released.
